Little Z, my 6 year old, loves blueberries! He enjoys eating them straight from the container. The rest of us, not so much. But we all love blueberry muffins. This was my first attempt at homemade – normally I use the dry mix. I am proud to say these turned out great! I hope you enjoy these as much as we did! Next time, I will double the batch.
Old-Fashioned Blueberry Muffins
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (if you like less blueberries use 1/2 cup)
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, butter and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in blueberries.
Fill 6 greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 400° for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm.

The task of choosing a paint color for our front door is driving me bonkers! However, I did find a helpful website. Sherwin Williams Visualizer is so fun! You upload a picture of any interior or exterior space. Next, you highlight the areas of your photo you are planning to paint. Then you choose your favorite paint. It is super easy to use. I didn’t have to download the program to my computer – just uploaded my photo. I registered for an account so I could save the photos, but registering is optional. The first photo is of my current front door.

Today I decided to share something a bit different. This is one of my favorite photos.

It was taken 4 years ago at my Mom and Dad’s house in MS. We were waiting for my Dad to get home from town. I grew up in the country about 15 minutes from the nearest town. No pizza delivery for us
. I am not sure why they both started singing so loud..? But I love this photo. Where did the time go? My two boys sure have grown.

Well, I shared two of my favorites
. Have a Super Thursday!
