Cookie Fail
On Sunday, I decided to try a new cookie recipe. It was a knockoff recipe for Girl Scout Cookies – Caramel deLites/Samoas.
These are one of the hub’s favorite cookies.
I found out some things are meant to be bought, not made.
This is true for me anyway.
I love to cook. Love to bake. But, I have very little patience.
The recipe warned me that these were not slice and bake cookies.
But how hard could this recipe be? Right????
Decide for yourself.
What a mess!!
The caramel burnt my fingers. The chocolate was still gooey after 2 hours.
In the end, I rushed the recipe.
My fault.
No patience.
No more fancy cookies for me.
So if you are having a bad day, maybe this post made you smile.
Happy Thursday!

They may not have turned out “pretty”, but did they taste good? Those are one of my favorites too!!
Not too bad. They were very similar in taste, but texture was a bit off. Either way, it took almost 2 hours – not worth it to me haha!
I can relate to this. Some things just aren’t worth the trouble. If nothing else, you can cross this one off the list..
Your boys are so handsome!
I love those too! Oh well…live and learn, right?
That’s right :)
