Last week, I finished decluttering 2 spaces in my home. My laundry room and my kitchen. It is amazing how it feels to walk into my kitchen knowing that a whole buncha junk isn’t hiding in the cabinets
. I donated several items and put a few in my storage closet to use in other areas of the house. Welcome to my clutter free kitchen! My son bought me this sign several years ago on our first trip to NYC. Even my 5 year old was aware of my lack of cooking skills.

We have guests coming next week! I love, love, love when family/friends come to see us
. So much to do! I go into cleaning overdrive when expecting guests. I drive everyone, that I love dearly, absolutely bananas. I am in constant motion for two weeks and everything is a mess again within 2 hours. But at least I have completed a few overdue projects in the guest bathroom. What was that? Overdue? Not me, not in my house. HA!
My guest bathroom is also the bathroom for my two boys. In case you didn’t know, boys are disgusting! You know what they say….frogs, and snails, and puppy dog tails
but oh how I love those boys!!!

Just keepin’ it real….

I didn’t make a New Year’s resolution this year. I did however make a plan to declutter my home. Since January, I have made several trips to the Goodwill and other charity drop box stations. But I am FAR from being finished. I have trouble staying in one place/room for very long. As a result, I have made quite a few messes around my house. It feels like I am actually taking a step back than forward :/ So…..I stopped that endless cycle this weekend. I finished 2…I will say it again…2 cluttered spaces in my home!
The first stop and DECLUTTERED room in my home is…drumroll please….The Laundry Room.
